Do you ever find yourself stumped on what to gift someone? I have that problem A LOT. I used to think men were impossible to buy for (my husband and son still are), but now I find it hard to buy gifts for women too.
Don’t get me wrong! There are a lot of GREAT gift ideas – jewelry, perfume/cologne, collectibles, kitchenware, music, technology… But sometimes the person you a gifting has more than enough of these things. Take for example mugs. I get A LOT of mugs as gifts. I have no where to put them. I don’t want to toss them out, and I’m not someone who “re-gifts” things.
If you are looking for a truly unique gift, you should check out the boxes from Decocrated.
Decocrated in a subscription service, where you can purchase just one box, or an annual subscription. There are four boxes per year. Each one focuses on the holidays and seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter). You can also purchase add ons and individual pieces as well.
I LOVE Decorated. I have had a few boxes over the years and have NEVER been disappointed. I utilize all of the pieces I have received. I especially love the holiday and seasonal pieces.
Let’s take a look at Decocrated for autumn and Halloween boxes. First up, Halloween.
I feel like a “kid in a candy store” when I open up the Decocrated boxes.
I LOVE decorating for the holidays and seasons, especially Halloween, Autumn and Christmas. I couldn’t wait to see what Halloween goodies awaited me inside the box.
Inside this box I found a banner that reads “trick-or-treat.” It’s made out of some kind of canvas and some kind of sisal rope (it’s like the rope you find on a cat tree, but not as thick).
I like that you can move the letters and arrange them any way you want.
In the background you’ll see an “Autumn” sign and a shelf that looks like a sled. The shelf is from a past Decocrated box. The “Autumn” one is from the fall box. More on that one later.
Next up is this large, lantern (?). It’s made out of metal and features a Halloween scene made with cut outs. I put a fake candle inside. It looks so cool at night.
I think you could also use a real candle inside, but I put a fake candle in it because we have cats, including a curious kitten, so I didn’t want to risk anyone knocking it over.
Also inside the Halloween box was a wood “Boo” sign that features three adorable ghosts. I placed ours on our bookcase.
Many Decocrated boxes come with seasonal (or holiday themed) throw pillow cases. This box came with two orange pillow CASES (not pillows – you’ll need a throw pillow to put inside).
All of the boxes come with art prints. They are normally 5″ x 7″ (I think, I don’t have a ruler handy). You can utilize them any way you want. You can frame them, put them on a cork board or use them in crafts. It’s up to you.
The Hallow box features a double sided art print (or should I say prints?).
Next up, let’s explore the 2022 Fall Box from Decocrated. This is the main box. The Halloween box is something different (it’s not part of the annual or season subscription box program).
Inside this box you’ll find a lot of fall themed décor items. One of them is the “Autumn” sign that was seen in the background of another photo. It’s made out of a natural colored wood frame, and features the word “Autumn” in a 3D effect. In the background are printed words that also pertain to fall, such as football, haystacks and cranberries.
I was going to show a close up of the frame, but I wanted to include a photo of a previous Decocrated item, a beautiful shelf that resembles and old fashioned sled. It’s one of my favorite pieces that I keep up year round (even in the summer). The items on the shelves are just things we’ve had for years (not Decocrated products).
I wasn’t able to get a decent photo of the three tiered candle holder that came with this year’s fall box. It’s all black and made of metal. There are three platforms that you can use to display candles or other items. Mine is on our television stand, which happens to be dark in color, so you cannot make out what it really looks like.
There is a photo of it in the book that comes with each box. Sadly, it doesn’t show it that well either.
Instead of a candle for the middle platform, I just added a ceramic pumpkin.
This box included a really nice garland, that could easily be used year round. Unfortunately I haven’t found a place for it as of yet. I thought I had a picture of it, but I don’t. Here is a photo of it taken from the Decocrated website. The three tiered candle holder is also featured in the photo.

The box came with a two tiered tray. THIS IS GREAT! You can literally use this year round. It’s not only great for decorating, but you could also use it for serving treats to guests.
I have a lot of figurines and small décor items for every holiday and season. I am going to have fun adding to this as each season/holiday changes.
Featured on the tray is a small wood sign with expressions on each side (it’s double sided). In addition to that cute sign, the cute wood pumpkins (also on the tray) were inside the autumn box as well (the other items are things I already had).
As I mentioned earlier in this post, the boxes always come with artwork. This box did as well.
Currently I have mine as an “accent” on our fridge (that is a wedding photo of me and my hubby – married 26 years).
I failed to mention that all Decocrated boxes come with a really nice booklet that features their products and showing them in a variety of ways, meaning they will offer you suggestions on how to utilize the variety of products they send you in different décor arrangements.
Oh yeah! I received cute stickers too.
A box from Decocrated would make a GREAT gift for that special someone on your holiday shopping list, especially newlyweds, new home owners, or simply someone who loves to change up their home’s décor from time to time. A box (or subscription) to Decocrated would be a great gift for YOURSELF too!
