Let’s take a moment to talk about your shoes.
Are your shoes comfortable? Are you able to walk or stand for long periods of time in them without feeling discomfort? Do your feet feel tired and sore at the end of the day?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions then maybe it’s time to look into shoe inserts.
I have a few pairs of shoes that are super comfortable on me feet, and several others that I can only wear for a short amount of time. They often make my feet feel very uncomfortable.
Shoe inserts are nothing new. They have been around for as long as I can remember. My dad used to wear them in his shoes.
When I think of shoe inserts I think of Dr. Scholl’s. I honestly don’t know if there is even another brand out there that makes inserts for shoes.
Inserts have come a long way over the years. These days they have inserts available for different shoe types, from flats to boots and from casual shoe to heels. Yes, I said heels. I wouldn’t think it was possible to make an insert for a heel. I would think it would move around too much when you walked because of the way it would need to bend.
I don’t wear heels. They look uncomfortable. The highest heel I’ll wear is a pump.
Have you seen the supermodel and fashion expert Heidi Klum and “Shoe Meanies” commercials on TV? The shoes monsters crack me up.
Here is a brief video that showcases some of the “Shoe Meanies”.
Thanks to Dr. Scholl’s you no longer have to sacrifice your personal style for the sake of comfort.
Dr. Scholl’s has teamed up with Heidi for the relaunch of the DreamWalk™ line of insoles, a refresh of their popular For Her line.
The DreamWalk™ line of insoles were designed to instantly transform uncomfortable shoes into comfortable, all-day wearable ones. Drawing insights from women and their unique foot care needs, Dr. Scholl’s developed new product innovation and refreshed its look so women can quickly find the right product for them. From heels to flats to boots and casual shoes, DreamWalk™ products add renewed comfort to feminine footwear, and help with common complaints such as rubbing, slipping, pressure, aches and pains. When your feet look beautiful and feel comfortable, you can completely transform your look!
Dr. Scholl’s sent me some DreamWalk samples to try out in my “mean” shoes. I’ve only tried a few of them so far. I haven’t tried the one for boots yet (it’s way to hot and humid to think about boots) or the ones for heels since I don’t “do” heels.
I put the 16 Hour Insoles in my sneakers and the Sole Expressions in a pair of flats that I like to slip on my feet when I want to dash out and do a few errands. Both inserts make my shoes feel soft and “cushy”. Even in my already comfy sneakers the inserts make my sneakers feel even better. My feet don’t feel as tired as they normally would after being on my feet for a long time.
I’m overweight which can really hurt your feet. The DreamWalk inserts provide my feet with some relief, for lack of a better description. I think they are a must have if you are on your feet a lot or do a lot of walking or standing.
One of my favorite Dr.Scholl’s DreamWalk product is the Sole Expressions Heel Liners. I have a few pairs of shoes that either give me blisters on my heels or slid off my heel. The liners provide extra cushioning which helps prevent blisters AND keeps your heels from sliding around. They make lose shoes feel a bit more snug.
I purchased something similar to this several months ago and they were no better then putting a band aid on you heel. The Dr. Scholl’s Heel Liner are thicker and soft and make a noticeable difference in your shoe.
I really think that the Dr.Scholl’s products help and do make a big difference in your shoes – a positive difference.
Dr. Scholl’s DreamWalk products are available at many retail locations. They are available in women’s sizes 6-10.
There is a coupon for $2.00 off on the Dr. Scholl’s website too.
Dr.Scholl’s wants to help a lucky reader help tame those “Shoe Meanies”. One winner will receive an assortment of DreamWalk insoles. Thanks Dr. Scholl’s.
