I work with children from grades kindergarten to sixth. As a site director, it’s not easy to find fun games and activities for kids to do that transcends their age differences (5-12). Either the games are too “juvenile” for the older kids, or too “difficult” for the younger children. Trust me, it has not been easy.
One thing I have noticed that all of my “work kids” seem to enjoy are those Go Pop! toys. I’m sure you have seen them around. I have added a photo of one to the top of this post.
Go Pop! toys come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors. I have seen some shaped like Transformer characters, to ones shaped like Halloween figures. I’ve also seen popsicles, rainbows, hearts, stars, ones that glow in the dark, ones on keychains, and even ones that are purses and backpacks!
Needless to say, these toys are popular with all ages, and it’s something that my “work kids” enjoy. Every time they see a friend with one, they always have to “pop it.”
Not too long ago I was introduced to a game that takes advantage of the Go Pop! toy craze.
The new game is from FoxMind, the original maker of Go PoP! They have taken this fun trend to the next level with the introduction of their highly anticipated game, Go PoP! Presto.
Go PoP! Presto is part popping, part card game. It’s a fast-paced game where players race to pop the bubbles on their Go Pop! “game” board.
To play, simply complete the challenges on the presto cards as quickly as you can. Once you have completed the challenge, quickly tap on the “Bubblo,” If you are the first to do so, you win the round.
It’s that easy… and fun!
Check out this brief video that shows the game in action.
I received the game to try out with my “work kids.” I cannot tell you how wonderful it has been having this game. My “work kids” all play this game together. It’s something they can all have fun with TOGETHER. It’s not easy finding a game they can all play together. I think the fun of popping the “game boards” is what makes kids so interested in playing this game.
I have watched the kids play this game, and I see young ones winning and the older ones winning. Not one age group wins more than the other. It seems pretty even (at least the times I’ve watched them play the game).
The kids love “Bubblo.” They find him adorable. I see the younger ones bopping him around like he’s a toy and not a game piece. He is cute…and very soft.
This game challenges players to have quick reflexes. It’s also a great way to build eye-hand coordination and a good sense of observation. And just like with the Go PoP! toys, Go PoP! Presto can help reduce stress and anxiety, builds fine motor skills and is a great example of intergenerational play.
This game would make a great addition to your family’s game collection.

Go PoP! Presto is available now on Amazon and Barnes and Noble for $24.95. It’s ideal for ages 6 and up.
