I have been a long time fan of Kohl’s Cares. In fact, I check their website every few months to see what new products are added.
If you shop at Kohl’s you might have seen the displays near the cash registers with $5 products. Those are some of the wonderful products made available to consumers as part of their Kohl’s Cares program.
Kohl’s Cares releases new products every few months. The proceeds from the sale of these particular products benefit the Kohl’s Cares program.
To reinforce the company’s commitment to children’s health, Kohl’s has donated financial support to hospitals across the country. The donations fund hospital outreach programs focused on children’s health initiatives and address the specific issues needed most in each hospital’s community. These tailored programs provide vital resources to families at no cost and include topics such as injury prevention, asthma awareness, dental care, and fitness.
One hundred percent of the net profit goes towards the charities that Kohl’s Cares supports.
It’s a win-win situation. Consumers get wonderful products at an amazing price, and Kohl’s Cares raises funds for their charities.
Kohl’s Cares often releases beautiful children’s books along with a plush animal from the book (each sold seperatly). Here are two examples.
I collect many of the book/plush piece from the Kohl’s Care program. I keep some for our home library and others I donate to where I work.

The Night Before Christmas book and plush reindeer bundle ($8). I LOVE! LOVE! LOVE this set. The book is a retelling of the classic Night Before Christmas story, illustrated with the most darling images.
The sweet little reindeer is incredibly soft and snugly – not to mention adorable. He would make a wonderful little friend for your child or grandchild to cuddle up with while you read the Night Before Christmas story to them.
If you have a Toys for Tots drive in your community (or something that collects toys for children), this would be a great item to donate.
The Christmas Movie Trivia ($5) set is a lot of fun for young and old alike. Even my hard to impress teenagers have been having fun with these trivia questions. There have been several times my husband or I would pick up the box and ask the other some questions. I’m impressed how much we know about the holiday and holiday movies.
This would be a fun game to play with family and friends along with some holiday cookies and hot cocoa.
I LOVE to color. I color all the time. Lucky for me I work with Kindergartners, so I have the opportunity to color at work too.
The 3 pack travel edition of adult coloring books ($8) feature three different themed books – Home Sweet Home, Home Away From Home and Home for the Holidays.
I don’t know how many pages each one has, but it’s a lot. There is a nice variety of images to color and there are no duplicates in any of the books.
These books are small in size, making them great to take with you when you travel.
