I am both dreaming of, and dreading, the idea of moving from our condo. Even though we have yet to have anyone show interest on our condo, I can’t help but wonder what it would be like to finally pack our lives up and move away from here. Not too long ago I tossed and turned all night just thinking about it. You would think moving would be easy, but the more I thought about it the more I stressed about it. There is A LOT to take into consideration.
Aside from packing up all our stuff and furniture you also have to consider things like transferring medical records (not to mention finding new doctors), transferring your children to a new school, finding a new vet, hair dresser, grocery store and mechanic. There are also other things to consider like hooking up your Internet service (something many people can’t live without), television and phone line.
You can stress a bit less about the Internet, TV and phone hook up thanks go CableMover.com. In addition to helping you get your services connect, CableMover.com offers consumers valuable moving tips and more.
This time of year a lot of families do find themselves moving. That is because people want to be moved and settled into their new homes before the start of the school year and the holidays.
To help celebrate moving season, CableMover has developed a new app on Facebook called Make Our Move. The application stars a fictitious family who are preparing to move. They need YOUR help to choose between to iconic US cities. You can vote for the city of your choice and be entered to win instant and weekly prizes. There is also a grand prize of a 32″ smart HDTV. We could sure use a new TV. That would be a great prize to win.
If you would like to enter for a chance to win visit https://www.facebook.com/CableMover/app_641887839158565. You can enter daily by picking a new city for your chance to win a great prize.
To encourage you to enter the Make Our Move Sweepstakes I have a CableMover giveaway. One lucky reader will win a $25.00 Visa Gift Card and a CableMover tote bag.
This giveaway is open to US residents only and will end at 11:59 PM (EST) on June 15, 2013. The winner will be chosen at random using a random number generator from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified via e-mail and will have three days to reply or a new winner will be chosen in their place.
To enter please leave a comment on this post and tell me where you would like to move to and why if given the opportunity – OR – leave me a comment and share with my your helpful moving tips.
For extra entries you can use the Rafflecopter widget (below) but you must complete the initial entry requirement or the additional entries won’t qualify (I do check). Extra entries are optional.
