I am OBSESSED with things that smell nice and make my home smell lovely too. Whether it’s a room spray, plug-in or candle… whatever makes my home smell nice I am totally into it.
I especially have a huge obsession with candles. Not only do they help my home smell nice, I also find the flickering and dancing flame on the candle to be intoxicating and mesmerizing.
I love to light candles at night. They really help set the mood and I find them very relaxing. The only downside is that we have five cats and a dog, so we have to be careful that the candles are no where near where the animals can reach so that they don’t get knocked over.
One of my favorite candles is from a company called FollowThru. It’s their ReJuvenescence candle in Wild Orchid scent.
The candle comes in an attractive silver tone jar. The candle it’s self is a beautiful dark pink color.
Unlike other candles I have enjoyed in the past, the ReJuvenescence candle has a long, thick wick making it super easy to light.
According to the website, the Wild Orchid candle…
… is a delicate infusion of wild orchids, red currants, ginger and peach.
I am not always good at picking up subtle scents (or tastes) in things. I’ve always been impressed by people with the ability to identify any “note” they find in a perfume or fine bottle of wine. I have an easier describing what I envision by smelling something, if that makes any sense?
I do smell something delicate. Orchids perhaps. I’m not sure about the red currants, ginger or peach. It reminds me a bouquet of wild flowers, for lack of a better description. It reminds me of Spring. It has a fresh scent. It’s not over powering at all. In fact you have to be close to the candle to even smell it.
The candle is environmentally friendly, which is an added bonus. It’s was made from 100% soy wax which burners longer, and cleaner, then regular wax.
This hand poured candle was scented with additive free essentials oils. They even used all cotton wicks which are better for our environment too. The candle it’s self is also biodegradable.
The packaging is lovely, giving the candle a sophisticated look. It would look great sitting out in your formal living room or on the table during a fancy dinner party. It would also make a great gift – ideal for a hostess gift or new home gift.
The candle retails for $14.99.
The candle comes in other scents too – Spice and Moonflower. They sound lovely too!
If you are a candle lover like I am then you might want to check out the ReJuvenescence candle in Wild Orchid. You can find it at GetReJuvenescence.com. You can find the candles under the product section. While you are there you might want to check out their scented toilet paper roll holders. It’s a creative way to add a fresh scent to your bathroom.
