I love candles. I seriously love candles. My husband says I’m addicted to them. I don’t think a day goes by that I am not burning a candle. I find the dancing flame to be very mesmerizing and relaxing, most especially in the evening when my husband and I are watching a movie or television show.
When I shop for candles, I always look for candles that are made as cleanly and natural as possible. I am not a fan of artificial scents. Not only that, chemical and artificial scented candles give my husband migraines.
Whenever someone tells me about a candle brand, I am anxious to try them out for myself.
I was recently introduced to the brand Nanor and their collection of beautiful candles.
Nanor Collection creates luxury candles you’ll love for your home!
Inspired by nouveau luxe, the Nanor Collection only uses premium ingredients in each candle with rich and light scents that offer a luxurious and intoxicating experience.
All products are cruelty-free, sustainable, and eco-friendly, from the soy wax to the packaging.
Revel in the lap of luxury with a collection of scents created to elevate every living space. Nanor scents are infused with natural extracts from delicate notes of rose and jasmine to smooth amber and vetiver, made to complement any room.

Nanor was kind enough to send me a couple of candles to try out for myself.
I was instantly impressed by the brand just by their packaging alone. They not only ensured that my candles arrived save and sound, and in perfect condition, but they also made unveiling the candles a delightful experience.
The candles arrived in a well made box, tied closed with a ribbon. Inside was two of their amazing candles.
The brand was even kind enough to send me one of their really cool refillable candle lighters. Even that was packaged in a lovely velvet pouch.
It’s evident to me that Nanor is a premium brand. This was even before I had the chance to try out the candles.
I later found out that the way the candles were packaged, as well as the inclusion of the lighter, is because it’s one of their GIFT SETS. I had thought this was how they shipped out all of their candles. But if they put this much love and care into their gift sets, I’m sure that their individual candles must be just as nice.
I received the following scents to review.
Taiga
Sometimes getting lost is a choice. Wander into a dense forest of pines and ponder the wonder of nature with our Taiga scented candle. Its aromatic evergreen notes of pine and juniper berries will waft through your home to create a soothing effect that’s instant — and endures long after you blow it out. The natural fragrance is perfect for those who tend to favor more neutral, fresh, crisp scents over those with floral, sweet or musky notes.
I am a HUGE fan of anything that remains me of the smell of Christmas time. Pine trees, needles, winter air, freshly fallen snow… all of those scents are amazing.
This candle does NOT smell like Christmas in the true sense, but it does remind me of that time of year. When I smell it I think about sitting in a log cabin, in front of the fire place while watching snow gently falling outside.
Woodsy… Earthy…natural… these are all the things I think of when I smell this candle.
I REALLY like this scent. I’m not a fan of fruity scents, or sweet scents. I much rather have candles that remind me of nature, which this candle truly does. It’s A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
I don’t want to burn it too much. I want to save it for the cooler weather.
Ambrosial
Chic. Classy. Crisp. Recreate the luxurious comforts of an apres-ski among friends in Aspen with our Ambrosial scented candle. A premium blend of frosted pine, lily, jasmine and winter wood, it’s designed to bring together the fresh smell of ski season with the floral bouquets of early spring. The result? You’ll emerge from every session feeling refreshed and invigorated.
When I think of “ambrosia,” I think about that delicious dessert my mom used to make with canned fruit and marshmallows. I was anticipating a sweet smelling scent with this candle. To my surprise, there is no sweetness in it’s scent at all. This too has a very natural scent to it.
I keep smelling this candle trying to pinpoint what it reminds me of. It reminds me of something, but I cannot nail it down. I want to say it reminds me of the inside of my dad’s racecar. I know there is NOTHING in it’s ingredients to give it that scent. I don’t smell floral at all. I want to say a good, worn, comfy leather-like scent. But that’s just me.
I’m not convinced that is exactly what I’m smelling. Like I said, I can’t really figure out what it reminds me of. My dad’s car is just one thing that comes to mind.
I do sort of get the woodsy scent with a light touch of floral (barely).
Of the two scents, I like the other one better, but this candle would be great for day-to-day burning. You could use this year round.
What I like about both scents is that no one can say they are too “girly.” They have a masculine appeal to them as well. I could see a man burning these in his “bachelor pad.” Ha ha.
The candles come in classic black glass containers. It’s hard to tell from my photos, but there is a simple design on each of the containers as well. It’s the brand’s logo (as seen at the bottom of this post).
I am very impressed by this brand, from the packaging to the candles themselves. It’s been a pleasant experience all around.
The brand has several other different scents available. Honestly, I am seriously considering purchasing another Taiga and trying out another scent or two.
Nanor also sells gourmet teas, skincare products and gift sets.
