What do you wear around your home? Do you like to be barefoot? Do you wear your shoes? Socks? Slippers?
When I get home from work (or whenever I go out), I take my shoes and socks off the moment I get in the door. First and foremost, I don’t like people wearing shoes in my home. I’m okay with guests, but honestly, I would prefer that no one wear shoes in our home.
We have cats, and all but one have health issues, from leaky heart valves, to severe asthma. As far as my cat’s are concerned, I don’t want anyone bringing anything into our home on the bottom of their shoes. Shoes can bring in A LOT of different types of bacteria and diseases. Since two of our cats are not vaccinated (they are except due to health problems), we worry about one of them getting sick.
Shoes also bring in other things, like rock salt in the winter. I don’t want my floors getting dirty.
I like the culture in Asia where people go from shoes to house slippers to keep their homes clean. They have the right idea.
I wear slippers around my home (not so much in the hot and humid summer months). I actually have bunny slippers. I’ve had them for years. Sadly, they’ve seen better days.
Slippers pretty much haven’t changed over the years, with the exception of ones that are made to resemble something (SpongeBob, bunnies, footballs…). That is until now.
Let me introduce you to the brand Pantuss. Pantuss makes slippers with a twist. They sell warming aromatherapy slippers.
Here is the backstory of the brand.
Pantuss was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during a cold winter back in 2012. Pantuss’s owners, two sisters, designed their products to be a perfect combination of comfort, design, and aroma. Almost instantly, families started buying Pantuss throughout the country.
One of the main reasons why Pantuss slippers became an instant success nationwide, was because of their naturally scented, warmed, comfortable insoles. They’re enjoyable in any climate or season.
Their international team is meticulous about making their slippers meet the highest standards of both quality and comfort, and they pass through several quality control checks between their manufacture in Argentina and the various markets where they’re sold.
Their aromatherapy slippers allow customers to relax at home in style and comfort. They are also handmade from eco-friendly, sustainable materials.
Pantuss aromatherapy slippers are a great way to wind down after a long day at work, or a long time on your feet.
Each soft, plush slipper comes with a removeable insert. The insert can be warmed in the microwave, then reinserted into the slippers to provide your feet with soothing, relaxing comfort.
The inserts contain dried lavender (known to help people relax) and flax seeds. The lavender creates the relaxing smell with premium essentials oils, and the flax seeds help to retain the warmth.
I was sent some slippers to review.
I am on my feet all day at work. There are days my feet hurt so bad that I have to ask my husband to rub them for me. I’ve tried these slippers a few times (when it’s not overly hot and humid where I live) and let me tell you, it’s so a NICE experience! The heat from the slippers on the bottom of my tired and achy feet SO GOOD. I never thought to use a heating pad on my feet to sooth them. Who knew? The people at Pantuss came up with such a great solution for achy feet.
The scent is subtle. I can smell it, but it’s not overwhelming.
When I wear these slippers I sit on the couch with my feet up and close my eyes. I even fell asleep once. That’s how comfy and cozy these slippers made me feel. It’s like a spa experience, but for your feet (and at home).
Pantuss slippers are available in a variety of styles and colors. They even have slippers for me.
In addition to the slippers, Pantuss has an interesting travel pillow that comes with attached eye masks. It’s also filled with lavender and flax seeds to make you feel relaxed when wearing it.
I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet. We haven’t been on any trips, but when we do, I’m taking this with me. It’s so soft! Velvety soft. If it were larger I would use it as a bed pillow. It seems so comfy.
You also don’t have to use the sleep mask if you don’t want to. It’s attached, but if you don’t want to use it simply leave it as is, or turn the pillow around and use the other side.
If you are looking for a gift idea this holiday season, Panuss slippers would make a great gift. The travel pillow with sleep mask would make a great gift for the traveler in your life too.
