Now available on digital (Prime Video, Apple TV, Movies Anywhere and Vudu), as well as on Hulu, is the Searchlight Pictures’ film, Theater Camp.
Theater Camp stars Ben Platt, Amy Sedaris, Molly Gordon, and Jimmy Tatro to name a few.
When the co-founder and director of a theater based summer camp, AdirondACTS, suffers a seizure and slips into a coma, her son, Troy has no choice but to take over.
Troy is faced with the fact that the theater camp is facing severe financial difficulties. To help bring in some money, he turns a cabin into an Airbnb, as well as having some of the campers perform at a rotary club.
AdirondACTS is facing foreclosure, and Simeone from a neighboring luxury camp wants to purchase the camp.
While all this is going on, the campers are working on a production called Joan, Still. The production needs actors, songs and more to help make it presentable.
