Lion Mane

When I was a young girl I had a head of massively thick hair. So much so my beautician referred to it as a “Lion’s Mane”. I wish I had some photos to show you of my luscious, thick, healthy hair.

Many years have passed, including coloring my hair more times than I can count, perms, hot curling irons, sun and other things that have thinned out my hair considerably. I still have thick hair, it’s just not as beautiful as it once was. The gray/white/silvery hairs and split ends don’t help either.

My daughter has inherited my thick hair. My husband and son actually have really thick hair too but they opt to get crew cuts all the time so you would never know.

No matter what products I try my hair just never looks or feels the way it used to when I was younger. It’s not as soft and I have a lot of split ends even though I rarely use any kind of hair product or device. Once in a while I’ll blow dry my hair, but mostly I let it air dry. When it air dries however it looks like straw sometimes. I think that is why I tend to go with ponytails all the time. They make my hair look decent and not so fried and dried out.

  2. I’d like to win this because my hair is dry, especially at the ends. Also, on humid days my hair gets majorly frizzy and nothing seems to help. Sounds like this product could be the answer!
