There are many “perks” to working from home. One of them is the ability to have lunch whenever I want, as well as make whatever I feel like eating. I’m not limited to sandwiches and salads. Thankfully my husband has a small microwave at work (a small one he brought in from home). When he has to work at one of the other campuses there are no microwaves so he’s stuck with eating just a sandwich.
If I worked outside the home I think I would treat myself to eating out for lunch at least once a week. I would try to vary what I eat and where I eat week to week so that I didn’t get bored.
There is a P.F. Chang’s restaurant opening up near by. I cannot wait to try that out. P.F. Chang’s also owns and operates another restaurant called Pei Wei® Asian Diner. Do you have one near you?
Pei Wei® Asian Diner offers guests high quality, Asian inspired cuisine. The restaurant has a lively and casual dine in experience. They also have the speed and convenience of a take away service making them the ideal destination for your lunch break. Of course they sound like a great spot to enjoy a delicious dinner too.
Pei Wei® Asian Diner serves freshly prepared, wok’d-to-order dishes that feature 35 bright, flavorful hand cut ingredients. Dishes are also made to order so you have control over customizing your dishes to your preferences. Pei Wei® Asian Diner also offers a variety of Gluten-free and vegetarian options.
To celebrate the fresh tastes of the fall season the restaurant has introduced another great flavor to their popular lettuce wraps – Sriracha Pineapple Pork Lettuce Wraps. This sweet and spicy bold counterpart to the other popular lettuce wraps – Traditional Chicken, Thai Chicken and Korean Steak – is a limited time offering. It will only be available through December.
This delicious sounding lettuce wrap is only $6.95, making it a budget friendly lunch or dinner option. It features all-natural, wok-seared pork and a combination of fresh cut ingredients—pineapple, red onions, and red and green peppers—topped with a kick of Pei Wei’s own Sriracha sauce and served with cool, crisp lettuce cups. Mmm… I’m drooling just writing about it.
You can enjoy this as is or pair it up with one of Pei Wei® Asian Diner’s Vegetable Spring Roll, Wonton Soup or edamame. You could also enjoy the Sriracha Pineapple Pork Lettuce Wraps as an appetizer before dinner or one of their wok’d fresh to order noodle bowls.
If you happen to have a Pei Wei® Asian Diner in your area you should stop by and try the new Sriracha Pineapple Pork Lettuce Wraps while they are available. If you do happen to try it I would love to know your thoughts. Feel free to come back and comment and let me know what you thought about them.
