Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. It seems like just yesterday we were singing Christmas carols and searching for the ideal gift for the special people in your life. Now we’re seeing hearts and boxed chocolates in practically every store you shop at.
I’m all for a box of chocolates from my husband, and a sentimental (or funny) Valentine’s Day card. I’d say flowers too, but with eight (yes, eight) cats, I avoid bringing flowers into our home, just to be on the safe side (the kittens “eat” and chew on many things).
Jewelry is another fabulous gift, and not just for Valentine’s Day.
When shopping for jewelry, you could just go with just about anything you find online or in retailers. Purchasing a piece of jewelry with special meaning behind it is even better.
Let me introduce you to the brand Starlust Jewelry. Starlust is a line of jewelry that brings together the astrological signs of loved ones, significant others, even best friends.
Starlust was created with a single gift between a husband and wife- an Aries and Libra combination necklace. Ken, who’s a custom jewelry designer and ASA Master Gemologist Appraiser, handmade the necklace, And his wife Gwen felt an immediate love for the concept. So much so that they decided to start a new brand- Starlust Jewelry in Burlington, Vermont.
A true labor of love and a family owned business, Starlust was founded on what it promises to give to the world- a connection between two loved ones.
Starlust Jewelry combines two astrological signs together in one piece. The designs are currently available in both necklaces and earrings. The brand also carries individual zodiac sign jewelry as part of their designer.
I’m a Gemini. My husband is a Taurus. We have always thought we were meant to be together, even as children. Our paths could have crossed many times since we were children (long story). We didn’t even live near each other (we lived nearly an hour apart). I jokingly used to tell my husband we were “star crossed lovers” when we were younger (but not now). The terms “star-crossed” and “star-crossed lovers” refer to two people who are not able to be together for some reason. BUT… we were meant to be together. I guess time wasn’t right for us to meet until we finally did.

Starlust Jewelry combines two astrological symbols to create uniquely designed jewelry.
The brand was kind enough to send me a necklace to review.
The necklace arrived in a box with stars and astrological signs on it. Inside the box I found the box the necklace. The necklace came in a lovely circular box.
I was impressed by the pretty packaging.
Inside the necklace box I found my beautiful necklace that combined the Gemini astrological sign and the Taurus astrological sign.
If you look at the design you’ll clearly see the two lines for the twins (Gemini) and the round design with the “horns” (Taurus).
What a great idea! My husband is my world – my universe. He means everything to me. When I wear this necklace I feel a connection with my beloved. It’s as if it brings us together in a cosmic way, if that makes any sense.
I have received several compliments on my Starlust Jewelry necklace. People find the design very unique. When I explain to them that it’s two astrological signs combine, they also think it’s a great idea.
The necklace and charm are very well made. It’s an 18″ chain, which works well for me (I normally wear 18″ – 20″ necklaces).
This necklace would make the perfect Valentine’s Day gift. I honestly think this would make a special gift between best friends. A mother and child’s zodiac signs combined would also make a great gift for Mother’s Day.
