Transform Your Hair with Tymo Styling Tools and Accessories

I will admit that I don’t always do much with my hair. It all depends on what I am wearing and what I am doing that day. Seeing as how during the week I work with kids, I tend to dress very comfy and casual. My hair is often pulled back in a messy bun.

When I think back to my younger years, I would spend hours getting ready to go out, even if I wasn’t going anywhere special. That time would be spent on making sure my hair, make up and outfit looked “just right.”

I’m all for looking your best, but sometimes I’m at a loss as to what to do with my hair. It’s a mess. I have naturally thick, course, wavy hair. I mostly let it air dry which makes it look really messy, even when I comb it. Some people compliment me on my hair, but I don’t often like how it looks in it’s “natural state.” I sometimes want to change things up.

I have thought about using a hair straightener (flat iron). My daughter used to use one. But to be honest, it looks scary. I mean, those iron plates get extremely hot. I also worry about hair damage, however, I used to use a hair curler when I was younger and there is no difference as far as putting your hair on a round heated plate or a flat one. I get that, but the hair irons just look worse for some reason.

A while back I received to review a Tymo Ring Plus hair straightening brush. If you can brush your hair, you can use this styling tool to brush your way to straighter hair.

The Tymo Ring Plus came with a protective glove, hair clips and a really nice detangling brush. I appreciate the extra accessories.

I made sure to do some research on the product and watch videos of others using it to style their hair. I wanted to make sure I did it correctly.

This tool can be used to fully straighten your hair OR give you a blow out look. When I get my hair done at the salon I always pay extra for a blow out style, since it’s one of few times I can get my hair to look smoother. With all the layers in my hair, I don’t think I can ever get it to be pin straight.

The Tymo Ring allows you to adjust the temperature for your specific type of hair. I’ve played around with the temperature to find one I feel works best for my hair. I stay at 350 because my hair is colored (believe it or not I’m a natural “dirty blonde”).

I appreciate being able to adjust the temperature and the LED display is great to know what temperature your device is at.

To use the Tymo Ring hair styling tool you need to do your hair is small sections. If your hair is thick like mine you especially have to do small sections otherwise the combs in the styling brush won’t “grab” your hair enough to straighten it. Thankfully the brand sent the hair clips so I can section off my hair.

I start with the hair underneath and gradually work my way to the hair on top (inside to outside). Because my hair is cut in layers I found that doing my hair by the layers works best. If your hair is all one layer I think it would be a lot easier. But that’s just my opinion.

It took some practice to finally get the hang of it. Now that I’ve used the Tymo Ring many times it’s and easy process.

Thanks to the Tymo Ring I’m able to switch up my hair style. Now when I was it and let it air dry I keep my waves. The next day I use the Tymo Ring if I don’t feel like having my waves that day.

People have commented on how I’ve been switching up my hair styles too (nice compliments of course).

I can’t get my hair to go pin straight, so when I use the Tymo Ring my hair has more of a blow out look, which is perfectly fine with me.
