Our pets are a very important part of our family. So much so we include them on our yearly family ornament – including the fish!
We always get gifts for our pets for Christmas. Our cats have to share the toys and treats (after all, we have 5 cats). Our dog is lucky – he’s the only dog so the dog toys and treats are all for him. I also buy gifts they can all enjoy like new pet beds or pet blankets.
It’s a little harder to buy for a fish. This year I am getting Fishy (our fish Wishy died earlier this year) a new bubble maker.
When it comes to holiday gifts for our pets we always shop at PetSmart. Actually, all of our pet supplies come from PetSmart. Our dog even gets groomed at PetSmart.
PetSmart was kind enough to send our pets some goodies recently. The package included dog and cat toys, collars and sweaters.
Our cat Bella especially loved a little plastic ball with a bell inside. It came inside a big, clear ornament ball. She went crazy for this toy and had a fun time playing with it. She STILL plays with it. We often hear her in the middle of the night batting it around.
I snapped a quick video of Bella in action with the toy from PetSmart. Please excuse my mess. I was cleaning.
We haven’t had a chance to put on the sweaters yet. It’s been unseasonably warm here in the Northeast. We’re sleeping with the window open because it’s been that warm.
I love how PetSmart thinks about all pets – not just dogs and cats. Check out these adorable things for fish.
If Christmas wasn’t this week I would have stopped by our nearest store and picked up the Santa and Tree for our fish tank. If they still have some available the next time I go I’ll pick them up for his tank for next year.
Don’t forget about your furry (or not so furry) family members this holiday season. They deserve a special treat waiting for them under the Christmas tree too.
To find a location near you visit PetSmart.com. You can also check them out on social media.
Do you gift you pet during the holidays? Does your pet have their own special stocking or personalized ornament?
Feel free to share with me how you celebrate the holiday with your pet/pets.
