I have an iPhone 4. So do both of my children. Up until now I owned ONE cell phone case. My kids on the other hand own about a dozen EACH. They are constantly buying new cellphone cases and they change them frequently.
Changing your cell phone frequently is not uncommon. A lot of people like to change the look of their phone on a regular basis. After all, you don’t wear the same shirt every day, so why would you want to “wear” the same cellphone cover every day?
Cellphone cases can be very pricey. There are several kiosks at the mall that sell cases. Some are as low as $5 each, others can be upwards of $50+. It all depends on what you want and the quality of the case. Buying several different cases for your phone can start to add up to a small fortune.
Not only can buying many cases break your budget, but there is also the matter of what do you do with all the cases? After all, your phone only needs ONE case at any given time. What do you do with the dozen or so cases that you have when they are not in use? My kid’s extra cases seem to end up all over the place. Some are in their dresser drawers, others are in their headboard. Not to mention the ones I find under the bed, in the case, in their backpacks and everywhere BUT on the phone. I constantly tell them that I’m going to put them all in a big bucket and they can just grab a random one when they want to switch up their look.
What if I told you that you can change the look of your cellphone on a daily basis (or however frequently you want to) without “breaking the bank” and without requireing a ton of extra storage space?
The new cell phone cases are called DayCase, and they are from Under the Rainbow Media.
The actual DayCase it not that unusual. I have seen similar on the market. The big difference is that there are inserts that go inside the case that change the look of your case in as easy as 1-2-3.
DayCase offers dozens of different designs which are all available in 3-packs. Each pack is only $4.95. It’s like you are getting three different cases for under $5.00! Where else can you get a cellphone case for such an inexpensive price?
Each insert is made with a quality stock paper. You can also upgrade for only $2 more to a special paper that won’t tear and is water resistant.
I love the variety of designs available. DayCase is constantly adding new designs too so I would recommend checking back often. Currently they are adding more unisex designs so guys can enjoy DayCases too.
DayCase offers patterns, designs, photos, quotes and even holiday designs. My phone currently has a pretty colorful Christmas Tree DayCase insert.
I LOVE that I can change the look fo my phone anytime I want to, quickly and easily. Plus the inserts are so easy to store. I have them in a Ziploc bag on my desk, neatly tucked away in one of the cubby holes. They barely take up any room at all.
I have a teenage son and daughter. They both LOVE the DayCase and are begging me to let them have my DayCase. My daughter wants my inserts because they are all “girly” and colorful. My son wants me to get some “unisex” ones for him.
That is another great thing about the DayCase – you can share! There is no need for my daughter to buy the same sets that I have. We can just share the inserts with each other.
You can even personalize and customize your own DayCase inserts using YOUR photos, logo or initials. Customized ones are only $9.95 which is still A LOT cheaper then other cases on the market.
I plan on uploading some of my photos to use for inserts, especially photos of NYC (my son LOVES NYC). I would also like to have one made up with my blog’s logo and URL. What a fun way to market your business/blog. 🙂
I think this is the greatest idea since “sliced bread” (to quote my mom). It’s such an ingenious idea. Knowing how much people value their cellphones and how they love to personalize the cases, DayCase makes perfect sense. You can reflect your personality (or market your business!) for a fraction fo the cost for just ONE cellphone case.
DayCase and DayCase inserts are currently only available for the iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPod Touch 5 generation and the Samsung Galaxy S3. You will need to purchase the DayCase to use the inserts. Each DayCase Bumper Case & Bundle ranges in price from $19.95 to $27.95. Each bundle also allows you to pick up one insert collection (each collection comes with three individual inserts).
It’s too late to order these for Christmas. If you are giving someone the gift of an iPhone, iPod Touch or Samsung Galaxy S3 this holiday you can add on to their gift with a bumper case and inserts from DayCase.
If you would like to check out all the available designs (remember to check back often), visit www.UndertheRainbowMedia.com. You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.
