Do you remember Trolls? If you grew up in the 7o’s and 80’s like I did, chances are you do. They were little dolls that resembled a troll (cute ones) and they had long, colorful hair that stood straight up in the air.
I had a few trolls when I was younger. I used to love to braid and style their hair. I even gave a few dolls haircuts. What is a troll without it’s long hair (in all fairness my Barbie dolls got haircuts too).
Now, decades later, the trolls are back and this time they are coming to the big screen. The new movie, appropriately named Trolls, is coming to theaters on November 4, 2016.
DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls is an irreverent comedy extravaganza with incredible music! From the genius creators of Shrek, Trolls stars Anna Kendrick as Poppy, the optimistic leader of the Trolls, and her polar opposite, Branch, played by Justin Timberlake. Together, this unlikely pair of Trolls must embark on an adventure that takes them far beyond the only world they’ve ever known.
The film features the voice talents of Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick (as mentioned above) as well as Gwen Stefani, James Corden, Russell Brand, Icona Pop, Ron Funches and Kunal Nayaar.
Check out the film’s trailer.
This looks really cute and funny. I have a feeling Trolls dolls will be on many children’s holiday wish list this year.
If you would like more information about the film, check out the film’s website, Dreamworks.com/Trolls, as well as the film’s social media pages – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can also follow Dreamworks Animation on Pinterest. The official movie hashtag is #DreamWorksTrolls.
On a side note, the Justin Timberlake song for this film, Can’t Stop The Feeling, is highly addicting.

There is finally a decent amount of great films that we can actually bring the kids to watch, I can’t wait to see this. Thanks for bringing my attention to this.

I didn’t even know they were making a Trolls movie. I still have a blue-haired one from when I was a kid.
