I love subscription boxes. I subscribe to a few. I get so excited when I see one of the boxes waiting for me to open it up. Most of the time I have no clue what awesome products and goodies are waiting for me inside.
You can find a subscription box for just about anything you can think of – make up, snacks, books, clothing, coffee… There are even subscription boxes for your pet including Bark Box for dogs and Cat Lady box for cat’s and cat lovers.
You can even find quirky subscription boxes for coloring, toilet paper (no kidding), cleaning supplies, and I even found one that send you letters from DEAD people. Sheesh! That’s crazy.
Let me toss another cooky (but useful) crate into the mix – CoopCrate.
CoopCrate is the premier gift box for backyard chickens (and the owners who love them).
Every CoopCrate features an exclusive assortment of chicken treats, chicken grooming items, and much more fun stuff. And each box includes information about one of the rescue chickens who were helped by your order (CoopCrate proudly donates to farm animal rescue shelters like The Funky Chicken Rescue).
I don’t own any chickens, however, if/when I ever own a house and have my own property, I fully intended on getting a few chickens and having them be “free range” for most of the day. Of course I would put them in a coop at night to keep them safe and from venturing off too far.
CoopCrate sent me a box to check out for myself. To be honest, I was very interested in what could possibly be in such a box.

I love the cute chicken featured on the box.

I think it’s a wonderful idea to help chickens and roosters in need. The box even shows you the chicken your purchase is helping. This is such a cute idea.
These are the products that came with the CoopCrate I was sent to review.

Ewww… the last one with the fly larvae I could do without.
As I said, I don’t have chickens myself, so I am not 100% sure what all these products are for. There is a scoop, treats, sticker, a feather and egg brush. Speaking of brushes, also included was a super soft brush for chicken’s features. It’s silky smooth!

Another interesting product included with this box is a bag of “chicken feet” gummies. Interesting…
I have not tired them (yet). I left them out for my son to be the first taste tester. If they are shaped like chicken feet i think I’ll be grossed out.

CoopCrate sells for $34.95 on their website. They are having a sale right now where you can get a CoopCrate box for only. $17.47 using the discount code LOVECHICKENS. Hurry, I don’t know how long that coupon code is good for.
If you have a friend that has chickens, this would be a fun and unexpected gift for them for the holidays. This would also be a handy box to have if you are the one who owns our feathered friends.
