Do you spend a lot of time online? Do you find that you frequently search the internet for various reasons? I would think that most people search for something at least a few days every day. I know I sure do. Some days more than others.
If you are going to do a lot of searches wouldn’t it be nice if you were rewarded for your time? You can be if you join Bing Rewards. Think of it as “frequent flyer miles” but for internet searches.
Bing Rewards points can be redeemed for a variety of things including gift cards to popular retailers (Fandango, Toys R Us, Amazon, Dominos…). Or you can donate your points to charity like Teach for America, Kids in Need Foundation or the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
Personally I like the idea of donating points to your school to help them receive Surface 32GB touch enabled tablets to aid in the learning process.
It takes 30,000 credits to earn enough to donate a Surface 32GB to your favorite school. That does sound like a lot but if you work together with other families in your school you can earn them much faster. For example, if 60 families donate their Bing Rewards points in one month’s time that would be enough for a Surface. If you have 125 families participate for a year it will earn enough Surface tablets for an entire classroom.
This is a wonderful project for a PTA/PTO to work on. I know plenty of schools have more than 125+ families.
The best part about Bing Rewards is that it costs you NOTHING. Whether you are well off or barely getting by week after week you can still help your school get the Surface tablets to aid in education. Participation costs you nothing. All you need to do it search the internet like you normally do. There is no addition time, effort or money on your part.
Microsoft is also doing their part to improve technology in the classroom. Their Bing in the Classroom program offers ad-free search results for students. It also offers enhanced adult filtering and much needed privacy protection. Bing in the Classroom is easy for kids to use.
If you would like to learn more about Bing in the Classroom visit www.Bing.com/Classroom.
Bing Rewards is free to join and easy to get started. All you need to do is sign up. You can learn more (and sign up) at www.Bing.com/Rewards.
Do you use Bing Rewards? Do you donate them to your child or grandchild’s school to earn the Surface tablets? Feel free to share your thoughts.

It sounds like a great program, I guess these bing search rewards are similiar to swagbucks searches? Perhaps bings gives you more points and has better rewards.
