Buying gifts for some people is easier said than done. There is always that one person on your holiday shopping list that is not easy to buy for. I have a few like that on my list. Take my father for example – he can afford to buy anything he wants/needs. So buying a gift for him is no easy task. What do you get someone who doesn’t want or need anything?
Most people want to open fun and exciting gifts. Some people are content with more practical gifts. Take me for example, I have a few fun gifts I’d love to get, but I also have more practical ones too which I’d be equally as thrilled to receive. One of those items is a new pasta pot with a strainer on the lid. Its not exactly an exciting gift, but it’s something that I really need and want.
Another idea – bathroom towels.
I know that some people reading this are rolling their eyes right now thinking that towel are the worst gift you could give someone. Is it?
When my husband and I got married 20+ years ago we used some of the gift cards we received to buy towels (bath, hand and wash cloths). I hate to admit it but we still own a few of the originals. They are in poor shape as you can imagine. We use them as spare towels (or to wash the dog).
Towels are not high on people’s priority lists. It’s not that people don’t want to replace their towels, it’s just that other things are more important.
One of the thing I love about staying at luxury hotels are the soft, plush towels they offer guests. Our regular bath towels have lost their softness and are not as absorbent as the used to be. I wish my towels were more like towels offered at fine hotels.
This holiday season, why not gift someone like a new homeowner, college student, newlyweds or someone else on your holiday shopping list with a new set of towels? They would also make for a lovely and thoughtful hostess gift too.
One suggestion would be Micro Cotton, the makers of the softest and most absorbent towels.
Micro Cotton towels are made from 100% super-soft cotton that lends itself to an indulgent texture. The towels are fluffier, softer and more absorbent than others on the market, while also drying easily. Additionally, due to the unique structure of the yarn, Micro Cotton textiles become softer after every wash for long-lasting luxury.
Here are some recommendations.

Both sets come in a variety of colors to match any bathroom decor.
Speaking of guests… why not offer holiday guests these beautiful towels. They would love them.
I was sent some towels from the Hotel Collection to review.
Oh my goodness!!! These towels are heavenly! They are even better than ones I have used at fancy hotels. They are so incredibly soft and snugly. They seem more like opulent blankets than bath towels.
These towels are thick and very absorbent. They are much thicker than regular bath towels you buy from department stores. You can clearly see and feel the difference.
I was concerned that after we used them and they were washed and dried several times with the laundry that they would lose their plushness and softness. That was not the case at all. These wash and dry exceptionally well. We have used them many times since I received them to review (we wash our towels after we use them – we don’t use them multiple time before washing). They are just as wonderful today as they were before we ever used them.
Honestly, if I was gifted a few more sets of thee lovely towels for the holiday I would be thrilled. I wouldn’t think it was a silly gift. Once the recipient tries out these towels they will quickly become their favorite towels and they will remember your wonderful gifts for years to come.
If you would like to learn more about these towels I have linked up to their pages in the descriptions (above).
What do you think about gifting luxury towels? Would you give someone the gift of towel sets? What would YOU think if you were given these lovely towels set as a gift this holiday season? Would you think it was a boring gift, or would you appreciate them?
Feel free to share your thoughts. I always love to hear from readers.

Towels do make a nice gift, I wish I could get a gift like that. Towels are nice because you can get new colors to change your bathroom look. It’s always nice to have some extra nice ones for guests.
