I’m a big fan of HGTV. I especially love to watch House Hunters, House Hunters International and Love It or List It. Even though we’ll never know what it’s like to buy a house, it’s fun to live vicariously through others.
I also enjoy the HGTV website (www.HGTV.com). I find a lot of great articles and inspiration on the site. All the more reason why I wish we had a house because there are so many projects I would love to do.
FYI… I was not compensated for sharing this information with you. I truly do love the channel and the website.
If you watch HGTV frequently I’m sure you have heard of their #LoveHome campaign.
In case you are unfamiliar with the #LoveHome campaign, here is a little more information.
The word “home” can mean a lot of things to a lot of different people. As leaders in home improvement, HGTV wants to dive deeper into the concept of “Home” and find out exactly what this phrase means to you. What does home mean to you and your readers? Home is your city. Home is your family, your friends, or your favorite neighborhood hangout. It’s more than just an address. It’s the place you fall in love with – over and over again. Capture the moments and share your favorite photos + you might even see them on HGTV. Tag with #lovehome & #HGTV on Instagram & Twitter. You can also check out the gallery of photos at HGTV.com/LoveHome.
HGTV is all about ideas, inspiration and, of course, home. Every day we share with you all of our experts in renovation, real estate and design, on air and online. Now we want you to share what home means with us. We want to see real photos, from real viewers, of all things home. The birthdays and the lazy Sundays. Their best pals and four-legged friends. We want to see and share what home REALLY means.
All you have to do is hashtag your favorite photos of home with #lovehome and share on Twitter or Instagram. You may even see your photos on HGTV. Over 40,000 photos have been submitted and we want even more. Feel free to share it with your friends, family and anyone you know who can say they Love Home and love HGTV! Thanks and keep the photos coming!
I have Instagram and I love to check out the #LoveHome hashtag to see all the wonderful photos people have submitted. There are a lot of funny photos, photos with babies, photos of people’s pets, photos of people’s home interiors and photos of projects people worked on. My favorite photos are the ones where families are enjoying their home, either in the backyard playing or sitting around the dinner table. There are literally THOUSANDS of wonderful photos to enjoy.
Your home is not just your address, it’s where you live. It’s a part of your life. Its where you make memories.
Here is a brief video about the #LoveHome campaign. You can also see the video here, .

HGTV is also on Instagram. Please include the hashtag #LoveHome on all Instagram photos too.
What does home mean to YOU? Have you shared any photos with HGTV with what home means to you? If you do share any photos let me know. I would love to check them out. 🙂

I also love HGTV and I watch it alot. My home means to me my comfort zone , somewhere I can relax in t-shirts and sweat pants. A place I can welcome my family and friends in and they can feel good about being here.

I LOVE HGTV! I have watched so many hours of this channel that I should be able to completely renovate and decorate a house all by myself, LOL.
