Can you believe that it’s May? In just a few weeks it will be the unofficial start to summer. That means backyard barbecues, trips to the beach, and roasting marshmallows on an open fire. Another “perk” about summer time for me is that I’m off from work for two months (I work in the school district).
If you are like me, I don’t like to show up at get togethers empty handed. I always bring something with me whether it’s chips and dip, or a meal like a lasagna. I feel that it’s the right thing to do. In July my family is having an family reunion in Pennsylvania. I’ve been trying to come up with what my family will bring to share with others. We don’t have a cooler, so our options are limited since it’s a 2+ hour drive from where we live. I’m sure I’ll think of something.
Whether you like to make and share things with others, or you simply enjoy cooking and baking, you should check out these fabulous (and handy!) casserole dishes from MALACASA. They are great for every day use, and more.
I was sent a set of the casserole dishes to try out for myself.
These are exceptionally well made bakeware. They have some “heft” to them, and they do not feel “flimsy” at all.
There are four pieces in this set, each one a different size. They range in size from .8 of a quart up to 3.1 quarts.
My family and I live in a tiny condo, so space is at a premium in our home, especially in cabinets. I really appreciate the fact that this set nicely fits inside each other, which means the set takes up little space.
We have used these casserole dishes to make and bake a variety of meals and sweet treats. We’ve used the larger piece for chicken and rice, the slightly smaller one for brownies, and the next size down for Jell-O. Yes, you can use them for non-baking purposes too.
These casserole dishes come in handy as a way to serve other goodies that don’t require baking or cooling in the fridge. You can use these to display and serve other items, such as candy, cookies, utensils, napkins, Just about anything you can think of. You are NOT limited to just casseroles.
I haven’t had the opportunity to do it yet, but I plan on using them for meatloaf and homemade bread.
We have found that these casserole dishes wash out easily too. My husband did use some non-stick spray when he baked the brownies (my husband is the baker in the family), but he didn’t use anything for his chicken and rice meal (oh yeah, he cooks too). We were able to wash the casserole dish out perfectly clean with nothing stuck on it.
The handles make moving these around easy to do, especially when it comes to removing them from the oven.
These are made out of a durable porcelain, which is a premium ceramic that is lead-free, non-toxic and scratch resistant. These will provide you with a long service life if cared for. They also come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturer defects.
These would be great for your summer get togethers. You could bring the baked beans, a 7-layer dip, a cake and so much more. There are so many uses for these casserole dishes.
These would make a great gift for the cooker/baker in you life, including Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
You can find these casserole dishes on Amazon, and they are quick to ship, so you could get these in time for Mother’s Day if you order in the next few days. You can find the MALACASA casserole dishes HERE (this is NOT an affiliate link).
I’m not the only one who loves these dishes. If you check out Amazon reviews (refer to the link above) you will see that others love these dishes too (they have a 4.6 out of 5 star rating, with 587 reviews).
