This sounds really cool! I wish I could go (my son LOVES to play “Club Penguin”) but unfortunately the ever-so-lovely Sprint and that bogus bill we have to pay makes it impossible for us to afford a visit to one of my most favorite places in the world.
The American Museum of Natural History in New York City is hosting a fun event called “Meet a Live Penguin” as part of it’s Wild, Wild World program.
Find out everything you ever wanted to know about penguins on July 10, 2010. You will be able to see and interact with a live Black-Footed Penguin. COOL!
Jarod Miller, host of nationally syndicated television series “Animal Exploration with Jarod Miller” will discuss the habitats and behaviors of these “extreme climate” animals, including surprising facts about where they live and what kind of parents they make. Come with questions and be prepared to march away experts!
The event will be held at the museum at the Linder Theater on the first floor on July 10, 2010. They will have two different showings, 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon and 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.
The cost of admission to the exhibit is $12 adults, $10 children. If you are a member then the cost is $10 adult and $8 children.

The American Museum of Natural History has a lot of fun events for families and children through out the year. One thing I would love to do some day is actually spend the night in the museum! That sounds like so much fun!

If you live in the NYC area, or are planning a visit (hello BlogHer people!) I highly recommend a visit to the museum. It’s one of the most amazing places in the world. I could spend the entire day there and not see everything I want to see. I love it there!
