I think it’s wonderful that so many people are taking responsibility (FINALLY) for our planet. Many people are more conscious about using single use items such as water bottles, K-Cups, disposable razers, straws and plastic bags.
I know a lot of people personally who were upset about the ban on plastic bags and having to be responsible to bring your own bags when shopping. Now it’s common place for everyone to bring their reusable tote bags with them when they go shopping.
I love to see that a local coffee shop replace plastic straws with paper straws. Some people worried that paper straws would get soggy as you are using them, but I have yet to experience that. They are perfectly fine and best of all, better for our environment.
I work in a school and most of my “work kids” bring their own reusable water bottles to school. Our district even installed water filling stations where children can fill their water bottles up. They actually replaced the water fountains, which I think is a great idea because I always felt like water fountains were covered in germs.
The water stations even have a counter on it that tells you how many water bottles are saved by filling up their reusable water bottles. At the one water filling stations where I work over 2,000+ water bottles have been saved – and that is just from ONE water filling station. Amazing!
The brand Zak! is well known for their fun and unique water bottles (they offer other products too). I use my Zak! water bottle all the time. I have one of the brand’s Zak! Play water bottles. It’s a reusable water bottle with a built in Bluetooth speaker. You can stream your favorite tunes right off your water bottle. I still think that is one of the coolest water bottles ever.

Zak! has done it again with another amazing reusable water bottle. It’s called Harmony. It’s made with 75% recycled materials. FANTASTIC!
Here is more details on the Harmony reusable water bottle.
- Made with 75% recycled materials
- Double-wall vacuum insulation keeps drinks cold for hours
- Wide carrying handle for take-anywhere convenience
- Flip-up drinking spout prevents leaks when closed
- 32 oz capacity, made from durable stainless steel
- BPA free
- Top rack dishwasher safe
I was sent one of these bottles to review. I received the Harmony bottle in “Emerald Green.” The bottle is available in other colors.
What I find really handy about this water bottle is that it opens up two ways. There is the narrower opening you’ll find when you unscrew it from the top (where the opening is). If you need a larger opening (ice, fruits), or you need to clean it, the bottom portion of the middle section also unscrews. That’s such a great idea!
As for form and function, this is another outstanding water bottle from Zak! It’s exceptionally well made, doesn’t leak, easy to clean and easy to use (no issues with the pop-up straw).
The fact that this is made from 75% recycled materials makes me feel even better about using it. Not only is using a reusable water bottle better for our environment, but using a reusable water bottle almost entirely made out of recycled materials makes it even that much better.
I like that is has a handle too. It makes it easier to carry around. We’re heading to NYC next week and I fully plan on bringing this with me to keep hydrated while walking the streets of Manhattan.
I find that water keeps cold in this water bottle too. It has wonderful insulation, thankfully. I like water cold.

This water bottle is also available with what they call a “chug” lid, meaning there is no straw, you would just drink from it the same way you would a glass.
What do you think of the new Harmony water bottle? Feel free to comment and share your thoughts. I always love to hear from readers.
