My son’s birthday is in September so I am looking for gifts to get him. Unlike our daughter who wants the high ticket items our son is happy with some cars to drive around (Matchbox, Hot Wheels…). Of course we’ll get him more then that.
I was looking for those rugs that have roads and buildings on them that he can drive his cars on. He used to have one years ago and he used to love to play with it. Sadly the edges started to fray and the cats decided the frayed edges were fun to chew on so we ended up tossing it out.
I found a site that sells MANY different varieties of these rugs. I was pleasantly surprised at the different options. The site is called Teak, Wicker & More (http://www.tweakwickerandmore.com/). I love the variety but I think I have settled on the one pictured above. It’s called the Learning Carpet Town and Country Kids Play Rug (click here to see the actual product page).
Not only does Teak, Wicker & More offer a variety of the play rugs but they also have the most amazing collection out outdoor furniture and accessories.
I LOVE their Patio Furniture. It makes me wish we had something more then a 6′ x 12′ balcony. I love the “conversation” sets. If we owned some of that patio furniture I think I would be outside more then inside. Right now all we can fit on our balcony is a small bench and two folding chairs. I would love to have some lovely furniture.
I also LOVE the fire pits they offer. WOW! Very nice. I can picture me and my husband lounging next to one on a cool summer evening. We’re not even allowed to have a BBQ where we live (as per the Fire Marshall) so a fire pit is certainly out of the question.
Another thing I found at Teak, Wicker & More is the HUGE selection of picnic products, such as their picnic baskets. WOW! They have something for everyone.
I had been toying with the idea of having a picnic with my husband, perhaps on the day the kids go back to school. We can’t go on night “dates” (they never work out for us) so the best we can do is daytime “dates”. I was thinking that a nice picnic at the park would be wonderful and dare I say romantic too.
I have my eye on a couple of the sweet picnic sets too.
Don’t you love doing “window shopping” online. LOL. It’s so much fun to day dream about things you wish you could have.
