Does this happen in your home? You are trying to walk across the room only to step on small cars or doll accessories? I swear they are like little “land mines”. It drives much crazy! When my daughter was into Barbies I would step on those little shoes every where I went. The only thing I have to worry about these days are little Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars.
I love it when I can find a toy for my son that allows him to keep all the accessories in one portable, convenient container. Its even better if that container could also be incorporated into play time some how too.
ZipBins are exactly what I have been looking for all these years. Not only are they portable little storage containers but they also open up to become fun play mats that add to your child’s fun and creative play.
ZipBins are so cute! I wish they had something like this when I was growing up.
Boy and girls can both enjoy ZipBins. They offer products for both genders as well as plenty of “unisex” products too.
ZipBins send me a cool set for my son to try out and another set (girl) that I let the little girl I baby sit play with.
The girl ZipBin that we have is a child’s size pink backpack with a Princess castle design on it. It also comes with a small Princess doll.
Alexa, the little girl I baby sit, LOVED this! She thought it was an actual backpack for school too. I suppose you can put a snack inside of it but I wouldn’t think you could carry much more then that. I wouldn’t use it to take a spare change of clothes or something large like that.
The outside is cute enough but wait until you see the inside.
It even comes with a built in slide. In the last picture its starting to roll back under. It will lie better once its been played with a bit.
The ZipBin doesn’t come with anything more then a doll. If you happen to have any small doll furniture or accessories you could easily store them inside the backpack along with the doll. The backpack easily folds back up (a small child can do it!) and can be toted around like a regular backpack (although MUCH lighter). This would be idea for car trips or visits to Grandma’s house.
Alexa went crazy for this. I eventually gave it to her because she had too much fun with it.
ZipBins are not only for girls. There are plenty of cool Zip Bins for boys too. My son has ZipBin Lego Racer bin. Normally it houses a lot of his miscellaneous race cars but for the sake of the photo I put them aside so you can see the detail inside the ZipBin.
I think my son uses this more so to house is most favorite cars. I don’t see him playing with it as much as I thought he would. He does like the separate road/ramp piece. I see him using that a lot.
I know my son loves this tote because he had so many Hot Wheels and Matchbox type cars and he has about two dozen favorites. I likes to keep his favorites in the ZipBin so they are always handy rather then dig through the toy box looking for them.
The ZipBin also works great for toting things from one room to the next. Sometimes my son wants to play in the living room. Instead of trying to grab handfuls of cars to bring into the living room he can just carry the ZipBin with him.
Both of the ZipBings have been very handy and enjoyed by both children. Both ZipBins are available for under $20.00. Considering that they serve a dual purpose (carrying case, play case) I think they are well worth the money. They are made very well too and neither of them have lost their shape.
ZipBins would make a great holiday gift as well as a birthday gift or even “just because” (Grandparents love to spoil their grandchildren…LOL).
