I am a big kid at heart. I know people say that about themselves at times, but I truly am. I have a few toys from my childhood I still keep around, and I have a soft spot in my heart for cute, fuzzy things (might explain why we have so many cats, ha ha).
When it comes to buying me things for my birthday, Christmas and/or Mother’s Day, I always tell my husband and kids that they don’t need to get me anything. If they insist, and ask me for ideas, I simply tell them that they know i love cute, soft, cuddly things. This would explain why at my age (50+) that I have so many stuffed animals. I don’t mind. They make me smile when I look at them. I even sleep with a stuffed cat every night (long story…).
Are you familiar with the brand Moosh-Moosh? I have never heard of them before. Where have these cuddly things been all my life?
Apparently this brand has been around for a while now. They are currently up to series 5 in their Moosh-Moosh designs.
Here is some more information about the brand and new series.
Moosh-Moosh Series 5 has just been released, and it’s filled with a dozen adorable pillow-y pals that are perfect for snuggling, collecting, and comforting. From Ana, the yellow pineapple, to Maya, the soft cactus with pretty red flowers, these plush toys are irresistibly cute and cuddly.
But it’s not just their cuteness that makes Moosh-Moosh special. These plush companions have been praised by toy industry experts for their softness and have even won awards for their ability to provide comfort and support to children. They are the ideal MESH (Mental, Emotional, and Social Health) toys, helping kids navigate strong emotions and difficult experiences.
What’s more, Moosh-Moosh Series 5 offers a variety of characters, each with their own unique facial expression and vibrant colors.
These adorable little critters are also machine washable for easy cleaning. They are made out of 100% polyester.
They are also affordable ($18.99), making them a great gift idea too.
The brand was kind enough to send me a few Moosh-Moosh plush toys to check out for myself. I receive to review the Napoleon Ice Cream Kitty, Chewmoca the Doe (currently sold out), and Dozer the Dalmatian.
Cute doesn’t come close. Oh my goodness! These are SO ADORABLE!
I’m sorry that my photos are not the best. Trust me, these have been well hugged and loved since I received them.
I anticipated these to be a bit bigger, but then I realized that I’m an adult, so of course they might come off as a wee bit smaller than I was thinking they would be. These are made for children, not grown up children (ha ha). These toys measure 12″ x 8″ x 6″.
These are SO SOFT! I mean REALLY soft. They are like hugging a cloud!
I can see why a product like this could help comfort a child. It’s helpful to have something to hug when you are feeling all sorts of emotions (sad, scared, anxious…).
When I mentioned earlier that I sleep with a plush cat. That is because it looks a lot like our cat Bella who died tragically back in May. We had her since she was a day old and found tossed in a dumpster. She was literally our baby, and having her die in my arms was just too much for me. I have profound grief losing her.
Since Bella would often sleep next to me, I found comfort in sleeping with a plush toy that looks like her. As odd as it sounds coming from an adult, it DOES help. Or maybe that’s just me. I don’t know. Regardless, I can see why a plush toy like Moosh-Moosh can provide comfort to a child. Plus they are so cute it’s hard not to smile and think happy thoughts when you look at them.
The holiday season is fast approaching. I think Moosh-Moosh plushies would make a great gift for a toddler, child, ‘tween and even a teen (even though they might not admit they like them).
Some of the critters have added embellishments to them, but for the most part these are pretty safe for little ones. Their faces are stitched on.
These also made great pillows to rest your head on. These would be ideal to take on a long trip in a car or on a plane. Kids can cuddle them, play with them and use them as a pillow.
If you are interested in learning more about these charming plushies, visit Moosh-Moosh.com. Be sure to check out the other available designs such as a rabbit, cow, shark, unicorn, puppy and so many more.
Be sure to check the brand out on social media. All of their links can be found on the bottom of the brand’s website.
